(Montreal, Quebec) The Monster Spectacular is returning to Olympic Stadium this Saturday night for one of the wildest events the Big O has ever seen – a 14 truck lineup and monster truck figure 8 racing!! The racing portion of the event will be unlike any other figure 8 ever seen as trucks will race together on the same course in a unique concept tested earlier this year at Quebec City Speedway. The lineup is stacked as always as Jimmy Creten in Bounty Hunter returns after sweeping last fall’s event while Team BIGFOOT sends new sensation team driver Amber Walker and Ms. Bigfoot north of the border for the first time to try and take him down. Also returning will be superstars Jim Koehler in Avenger, Chris Bergeron in Brutus and Mike Vaters in Black Stallion.
Making their first trip to Olympic Stadium will be the Straight Up Racing team out of Washington as freestyle juggernaut Bill Payne will make his final appearance in the current Rock Star chassis before scrapping it and debuting a new piece next season. Joining him will be team truck California Kid and rounding out the lineup will be big names including the “monstah lobstah” Crushstation, Bad Habit, Aftershock, Illuminator, Iron Warrior, Siberian Express and the debut of The Red Baron.
As if all that monster truck excitement wasn’t enough, the Monster Spectacular in Montreal never fails to have an amazing support card as this year’s event will feature the North American Autocross Championship and much more.

Well fans, its a huge weekend for monster trucks as two of the biggest events of the summer are happening on opposite ends of the country and TMB is on hand for all the action!!
Tonight the Monster Truck Challenge Back to School Bash returns to The Dirt Track @ Charlotte Motor Speedway as 10 trucks will once again take on the wildest racing course in the history of monster trucks. TMB’s Chris Parrish is on hand filming for what will be Episode #2 of the new ActionTracks series and he’ll have all the highlights as Mike Hawkins in Equalizer looks to win it all for third straight year in Charlotte. He’ll take on Avenger, Raminator, Stone Crusher, Mopar Magic, Backdraft, Brutus, Hot Tamale, War Wizard and Tail Gator – what a lineup! Out west, its the annual Maverik Clash of the Titans at Rocky Mountain Raceway in suburban Salt Lake City, Utah today and tomorrow. Twelve trucks will take on the tricky figure 8 style race course and our own Colby Marshall is on hand for all the fun as he too will be filming for another new TMB TV spinoff video series – stay tuned for more news on that. The lineup will feature drivers who have dominated at RMR before – Dan Runte in Retro-Bigfoot, Jimmy Creten in Bounty Hunter and David Smith in King Krunch. They’ll take on some tough RMR first timers including Jon Zimmer in Amsoil Shock Therapy and Rick Swanson in Obsession who are both expected to contend for victories. El Matador, Ms. Bigfoot, Obsessed, Maverik Monster Trakkar, Excaliber, Iron Outlaw and Captain USA round out the lineup. TMB Super Photographer Paul M. Harry started off another big weekend of monster trucks Friday night in Monroe, Michigan for the annual Midwest Monster Truck Events Monster Truck Madness!! Talk about a stacked lineup – Avenger, Amsoil Shock Therapy, Brutus, High Maintenance, Excaliber, Spike and Wrecking Crew.
The big stars did battle in wheelie, racing and freestyle and it was Jim Koehler starting off the night winning the wheelie contest, with a massive vertical leap. In racing it was all Chris Bergeron in Brutus while a hard fought freestyle would see Jon Zimmer in Amsoil Shock Therapy take top honors.

Monster trucks returned to the Canfield Fairgrounds last weekend as Family Events brought the Monster Nationals series to town for the very first time!! 2010 Monster Nationals Racing Champion Rick Long in Bigfoot #15 would take on Avenger, Raminator, Brutus, Lucas Oil Stabilizer and Rammunition in racing and freestyle competitions.
Long would be the weekend’s big winner as he took one racing win and two freestyles with some great slap wheelies. Mark Hall in Raminator and Geremie Dishman in Rammunition each picked up racing wins, while Chris Bergeron in Brutus was the only driver to top Long in freestyle.
A big thanks to Family Events for a great weekend and of course to resident TMB Super Photographer Paul M. Harry for once again putting together an amazing set of photos. As the Monster Nationals 2010 Tour is now complete, a big congratulations to 2010 Racing Champion Rick Long and to 2010 Freestyle and Wheelie Champion Jocelyn Perrin in High Maintenance on their incredible seasons!!

One of the most storied venues in monster truck history was the scene this past weekend for another round of the 2010 Monster Truck Thunder Drags – the Bloomsburg Fairgrounds. A season that started off with great competition for the championship between Dan Runte in the Retro Bigfoot and Mark Hall in the new Raminator has now become the yearly Hall Brothers Racing domination tour as Mark went 3 out of 4 in Bloomsburg, with teammate Geremie Dishman in Rammunition getting the other win. Hall’s lead over 2nd place Runte is now massive after the dominant weekend and Bigfoot’s championship hopes are beginning to dwindle. In addition to the racing, there was plenty of great freestyle action from all eight trucks as well.
